Troy Schools Open Fall Sports Registration on Arbiter Sports Platform Starting July 18

Fall sports registration is arriving in the middle of summer with a new required online portal for Troy families. Troy City School District in Troy, New York, opened fall sports registration July 18 for football and will open July 25 for other high school fall sports. Before August and September practices and tryouts begin, parents will need to submit paperwork through the district's new online system and make sure their student is cleared.

Families registering students for fall sports typically need to provide current physical exam documentation and health insurance information as part of the registration process. Parents should check with the district to confirm what specific forms and documents are required for their student's sport.

For families balancing work, travel and summer appointments, the new platform could cut down on paper shuffling — if the needed records are ready and the system works smoothly. It does not remove the work of gathering documents, entering information correctly and checking that a student has actually been cleared. An incomplete submission can leave an athlete waiting for approval as tryouts and practices get closer.

The Troy Athletic Department can be reached at 518-328-5417 for questions about registration requirements, deadlines, practice start dates, and the approval process. Families experiencing technical issues with the online registration system should contact the athletic department for assistance or alternative submission options.
